Free Ownership Score

The Amazon Ownership Score.

Ten honest questions, two minutes, one number: how much of your brand you actually own. Calculated in your browser, nothing stored, no signup.

The Customer

I can contact my customers directly, by email, without going through Amazon.

I have an email list of my own buyers that grows every month.

The Data

I know who my repeat buyers are, and I can see their purchase history.

I can export my customer and sales data and take it anywhere.

The Traffic

I have traffic sources no marketplace can switch off, like my own site or search.

People search my brand by name on Google and find a home I control.

The Margin

Some of my revenue arrives without a marketplace fee taken from every order.

I set my prices and promotions freely, without algorithm or Buy Box pressure.

The Brand

My brand has a home that looks like a brand, not a listing in someone else's template.

If my Amazon account froze tomorrow, my business would keep breathing.

Answer honestly, not hopefully. The score only helps if it tells you the truth, and most Amazon-only sellers start lower than they expect.

How the Score Works.

Ten statements, two for each of the five pillars a platform can hold for you: the customer, the data, the traffic, the margin, and the brand. Every Yes is worth ten points, every Partly five, every No zero, which makes the score simply the percentage of your business that answers to you instead of to a marketplace.

The pillars are weighted equally on purpose. Sellers love to argue that the customer list matters more than the margin, and some days it does, but a platform can hold any of the five over your business with the same effect. The score refuses to let a strong pillar hide a hollow one, and that is exactly what makes a low number useful.

Answer honestly, not hopefully. Nothing you click is stored or sent anywhere, so the only person a generous answer fools is you. Most Amazon-only sellers land between 10 and 30, and that is the model, not the effort.

Fair Questions

About the Score.

What Does the Ownership Score Measure?

How much of your business would still be yours if the marketplace disappeared from under it. The ten questions cover the five things a platform can hold for you: the customer, the data, the traffic, the margin, and the brand. Two questions each, answered honestly, give you one number out of 100.

What Is a Good Score?

Most sellers who sell only on Amazon land between 10 and 30, so do not be discouraged by a low number: it reflects the model, not your effort. The score is a starting line. Every ten points you add is real ground your brand owns, and the roadmap maps the moves in order.

Is My Answer Data Stored Anywhere?

No. The score is calculated in your browser and nothing you click leaves the page. There is no signup and no tracking of your answers. If you want the full framework with the reasoning behind each pillar, the Push Roadmap PDF covers it, and that one does ask for an email.

Where Do the Five Pillars Come From?

They are the Ownership Scorecard from our Push Roadmap, the framework we use on real calls with Amazon sellers. Each pillar is something a marketplace can hold on your behalf: the customer relationship, the data, the traffic, the margin, and the brand itself. The score simply makes the framework interactive.

The Bigger Picture.

The score hands you one number, and a number is only useful with a map behind it. These four pages are the map: what the platform holds, the model, and the library that walks you through it.
